DriftWarden Privacy Notice

Last updated: August 1, 2026 · Early-access version

This notice explains what information DriftWarden collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. DriftWarden is a product of New Game Plus Leadership and Consulting LLC ("we," "us"), a Texas limited liability company. If you have questions, contact us at support@driftwardenhq.com.

Who this applies to

This notice covers visitors to our website, people who request early access, and customers who use the DriftWarden application.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Early-access requests: your name, work email, role, studio or company, the type of work you do, and any optional detail you add.
  • Account information, handled through our authentication provider: your name and email.
  • Milestone content: the plans, deliverables, notes, documents, and other material you create, import, or paste into DriftWarden.
  • If you purchase a paid subscription, payment information is handled through our payment provider. We do not store full card details ourselves.
  • Anything you send us in support or other correspondence.

Information collected automatically:

DriftWarden uses essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication and session management through Clerk. We also collect basic technical, usage, security, and log data needed to operate and protect the service, including through our hosting provider. We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, session replay, or non-essential analytics cookies in the DriftWarden application. If we add analytics later, we will update this notice.

Information from third parties:

  • Our authentication provider shares limited account information needed to run the service. If you purchase a paid subscription, our payment provider shares limited billing status information.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide and operate DriftWarden, including its AI features; to respond to early-access requests and support questions; to process payments and manage access; to communicate with you about the product; to improve reliability and the product itself; and to meet security and legal obligations.

AI processing

DriftWarden uses AI to help map documents, challenge planning, surface risks, and identify possible drift. You can redact names and custom terms before content is processed, and no AI suggestion changes your plan without your confirmation. How long AI-related material is kept is described in our Trust Center.

How we share information

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate DriftWarden (listed in our Trust Center), when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep information

We keep source-like material only as long as needed to complete the workflow you started:

  • Uploaded milestone documents. The original file is not stored. Extracted text and mapping proposals are held only during the import review and are scrubbed once you create the plan. Unfinished import sessions are deleted automatically.
  • External notes and transcripts submitted for drift analysis. Held only until the analysis completes, then deleted. Only the change you confirm, its rationale, and a source category are retained.
  • Assist chat. Kept as history so you can refer back. A long block of pasted source-like material is used for a single request and then replaced with a deletion placeholder.
  • Plans, baselines, confirmed changes, and drift logs you save. Kept until you delete them or close your account.

Account records are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for legal, tax, and operational purposes. If you purchase a paid subscription, billing records are kept as required for those purposes. Early-access request details are kept to evaluate fit and follow up. Further detail is available in our Trust Center.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal limits, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export/port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Where legally required, you may also have rights to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

You can also export your milestone data as Word documents at any time, and delete plans from your workspace.

To make a request, contact support@driftwardenhq.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, described further in our Trust Center. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International data transfers

DriftWarden is operated from the United States. We and our service providers may process, store, and transfer information in the United States and other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Our application database is hosted through Supabase in the US East (North Virginia) region. If personal information is transferred from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards where required, such as data processing agreements, standard contractual clauses, or provider Data Privacy Framework commitments.

Children

DriftWarden is a professional tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the product or our practices change. We will post the new effective date above and, where appropriate, notify customers.
